Read this before training.
FitCoach AI provides AI-generated fitness information. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified trainer who can assess you in person.
1. Not medical advice
Nothing produced by this service diagnoses, treats or prevents any condition. Using it does not create a clinical or trainer–client relationship. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something a generated plan said.
2. Speak to a doctor first
Consult a healthcare professional before starting, particularly if you:
- Have a heart condition, high blood pressure or a metabolic condition
- Are pregnant, recently postpartum, or trying to conceive
- Have an injury, chronic pain, or a joint or mobility limitation
- Are returning to training after a long break, illness or surgery
- Take medication that affects heart rate, balance or exertion
- Are over 40 and largely inactive
- Have any doubt about whether exercise is safe for you
3. What AI can and cannot do
Plans are generated from the information you enter. The system cannot see you, assess your technique, or examine you. It does not know about conditions you have not told it about.
Consequently, generated plans may:
- Suggest a load that is too heavy or too light for you
- Include movements unsuitable for your body or history
- Miss a contraindication a professional would catch
- Contain plain errors
Suggested weights are starting points to test cautiously, never targets to force. Begin lighter than suggested and build up.
4. Your responsibility
You exercise at your own risk, and you are responsible for training safely. That means:
- Warming up properly and progressing gradually
- Using correct technique — get coaching if you are unsure of a lift
- Checking that equipment is safe and correctly set up
- Using a spotter for heavy barbell work
- Staying within your own limits regardless of what a plan says
5. Stop immediately if you experience
- Chest pain or pressure
- Breathlessness out of proportion to the effort
- Dizziness, faintness or confusion
- Sharp or sudden joint or muscle pain
- Irregular heartbeat
- Nausea or unusual fatigue
Seek emergency medical help for chest pain or difficulty breathing. Call your local emergency number.
6. Equipment recognition is imperfect
Photo scanning identifies equipment automatically and can be wrong. It may misidentify similar machines or miss items entirely. Always review what was detected before generating a plan, and never attempt an exercise on equipment you do not know how to use.
7. Assumption of risk
Exercise carries inherent risks including injury and, rarely, serious medical events. By using FitCoach AI you accept those risks and agree that FitCoach AI is not liable for injury or harm arising from your use of generated plans, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
